We need a basic minimum needs economy plus a cap on personal wealth. A wealth tax balances the inequalities and finances the restoration of dignity to those who suffer from this great disparity. We also need free tuition for all plus Medicare or some kind of free health care for all. These monies will return back into the economy to stimulate growth. Also, jobs are being lost to automation and robotics but that frees us from mundane tasks so we can work to solve solutions and in ways that are more creative and stimulate us, make life more enjoyable. While basic needs get met, people love luxuries, those things beyond basics so people will work for luxuries.
